I have at least two codes that will not be needed, possibly 3 (depends on if my wife wants one), and I'll be giving them away during my streams tomorrow. To qualify, you'll need the follow on Twitch and Twitter, like Nevermore Studios Online on Facebook, and Tweet out the stream. You'll be submitted to the drawing and I'll reward the codes later that night. Join me for some good fun and Smash Bros discussion. (I may not be playing anything Smash Bros related, but it'll still be a good time!)

11am EST (Morning Stream) and 6pm EST (Co-Op Stream)

UPDATE2: The winners of the last two codes were auragreyfall and joystik_thePony. Thanks to everybody that came out!

I will be streaming a marathon of the entire original Mega Man series on my Twitch channel, Saturday August 30 @ 8am EST and sunday August 31 around 1pm EST (if needed).

50% of all donations received will go to the ALS Association. In line with the Ice Bucket Challenge, 100% of all donations will go to ALSA during Ice, Water, and Snow themed levels.

Please join me Saturday morning for some fun, chat, and a good cause.

Also, I attempt to stream nightly betwen 7-9pm EST. Start times are usually a little scattered as that's when my kids start going to bed. Join me tonight to see me suck at playing Skyrim!

I'm officially streaming on Twitch.tv!

Not only am I still working on Family Man Gamer and OUYA Oh Yeah!, my two YouTube review series, but I'm now officially streaming to Twitch. In response to their recent music-based TOS, I've decided that any music featured in my streams will be from NG's own audio portal. I'm currently playing a few of my favorites (though I don't have a lot yet because I only just recently started making rounds through the audio portal).

Please come by and say hi. I'm streaming tonight at 8:30 EST (in 15 minutes!), finishing my personal playthrough of Banjo-Kazooie on XBox360.

And if you have any suggestions on audio that should be used in my "pre-game" show, please feel free to leave commments here.

I will be reviewing Stick It to the Man, LIVE on Twitch.tv and my website, Nevermore Studios Online. Please tune in at 2pm EST. This is an experiment for Family Man Gamer to see how a live review goes.

So, I've done a few animations on here under the studio name of Raven Animations. That has since evolved into Nevermore Studios, and I've been focusing on game review videos as of late. I'm doing two different review series, OUYA Oh Yeah! and Family Man Gamer. Both now have a new home on the Nevermore Studios website.

http://www.nevermorestudiosonline.com

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/nevermorestudiosonline

OUYA Oh Yeah! is focused on OUYA Games. It attempts to create a positive thought environment about the OUYA as an alternative to console gaming, while presenting each game based on its own merit. The series rates each game on a 5-point scale based on its graphics, sound, music, control, gameplay, and content. Each video tries to forget that the "Big Three" even exist, and brings attention to the OUYA in a positive and respectful light.

Family Man Gamer broadens the focus to games for any system, but brings the focus in on the appropriateness of the game in a family environment. Reviews are scored twice with the 5-point scale; once for the game on its own merit, and again for its pertinence to a family situation. The goal of this series is to bring attention to the game ratings, the reason for their ratings, and what should be considered in playing a game with or around the family. It does not condemn purchasing potentially inappropriate games, but instead encourages creating proper practices for playing said games in a manner that is appropriate for a family. For example: the latest Mario game is wonderfully appropriate to play with and around a family with small children, but the latest Castlevania would be better enjoyed when the children are not around or asleep.

Both series are open to user interaction in the form of requesting games to be reviewed. I schedule the review order, and right now alternate between the two series. Currently working on Family Man Gamer Ep 2 - Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

The website is still being cleaned up, as I'm still linking my animation archive back here to NG. (The hosting space has been a gift, so I'm not overloading it with the SWFs.) A few more ad banners will pop up here and there (gotta pay for production costs somehow), but I'm limiting it so my site stays fairly clean.

I hope you all enjoy it. You can help out by sharing, liking the Facebook page, and leaving comments for review requests on the YouTube videos or using the contact form on the site.

I launched a Kickstarter for my two video series last night.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/588784967/nevermore-studios-video-series

Be sure to check it out and give a hand! I'm already incorporating some Newgrounds audio here and there (with proper permissions, of course), but I'd love to see more assistance from the Portal.

The two series are OUYA OhYeah! - an OUYA focused review series, and Family Man Gamer - a general review series based on a family perspective.

More about the series can be read on the Kickstarter. Also check me out on YouTube and subscribe for more!

5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

Prep time - Roughly 2 minutes
Cook time - 3 minutes

What you need:

4 Tbsp Sugar
4 Tbsp Flour
2 Tbsp Choco
1 Egg

3 Tbsp Milk
3 Tbsp Oil
A splash of Vanilla
1 Tbsp Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (optional)

Mix the dry ingredients in a large microwave safe mug.
Add the egg. Mix thoroughly.
Add the milk and oil. Mix thoroughly.
Add the splash of vanilla and the chocolate chips. Stir.

Microwave the mug for 3 minutes in a 1000 watt microwave. (Modify for your microwave if necessary.) The cake may rise above the mug, but this is okay! It'll come out a little spongy, but what do you want from a 5 minute recipe? My wife and I, with a little experimenting, figured out that mixing it in another dish and spraying the mug with non-stick spray makes cleanup a little easier. Enjoy! (Just be careful! Knowing that chocolate cake is only 5 minutes away is a very dangerous temptation!)

Enjoy!

I'm looking for either a tutorial or a programmer that will help me make a Match 3 and/or Collapse style puzzle game. I'm wanting to make 20-25 or so levels with each story mode (if both Match 3 and Collapse style are done) and an endless mode for either. I have no issues with putting the graphics together if I need a programmer to help out. I'm really just looking for a place to start. Here's the breakdown of the game:

The theme is American McGee's Alice
Possible title of the game is Drink Me

Story mode for either type of game involves Alice on a quest to gather the ingredients for the shrinking elixer. Each set of five levels deals with a different ingredient. So, 1-5 would be Mushrooms, 6-10 would be Poppies, and so on with Sugar and Spice. Possible levels 21-25 would be all four ingredients with their varying colors reduced so matches are easier.

Here's a preview of the piece ideas I've been playing with:

If you know of a tutorial, please link one in your comments. If interested in working with me on it, please PM me.

Hey everybody. I'm looking for somebody who is skilled in digital coloring for the purpose of a webcomic. I've got a topic in the forums already, and was hoping a new post would draw some attention to it.

http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/95 3672

The comic will be posted on Drunk Duck until we get going. I just wanted to see if anybody would be interested in this, or if my artist and I would be going Black and White.
