Generic...

I really don't understand why so many people think that DBZ style fighting fits Sonic. Plus you don't even establish any kind of limits. Sonic and Shadow can just power up as much as possible whenever and even go hyper and combine after expelling a crap-ton of power? Even DBZ made it physically difficult for the characters to recover after an ascension.

You animation wasn't very fluid. Just swapping to the next set of sprites while the opponent stood still didn't make any sense. The repetitive first background was very generic, and all your voices were obviously taken from a Dragonball game of some sort.

Try not to play into such a cliche as DBZ. It seriously doesn't work in Sonic's world at all.

MarnicX responds:

Some of the voices were taken from DBZ, but most of the voices from the orignal sonic games were edited, by me, to fit for the form. Also, I can do what I want with the sprites, even if they can fuse after wasting a ton of power, that's my decision to make.

I love it!

L.A. Noire is a great game, but I think the racism in it was almost TOO accurate. Anyway, the Damn Dirty Cars part is extra funny because, to me anyway, a lot of the cars you use really DO look the same. Lol.

Keep up the great work.

JohnnyUtah responds:

i gave up on collecting them all for that reason.

WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS?!?!?!

Not only are these pointless, with little to no actual animation, but they are nothing but trash in the portal. You do nothing but load GIANT songs into the flash, giving this a huge file size for what it is. If you knew what you were doing, these shouldn't even break 1 Meg. Also, you do nothing but swap out a few images and tag your "intro" on the front, and submit. There's nothing to that. These, and all of their idiotic spinoffs, are worthless spam that need to be deleted along with their author(s).

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

I hate to break it to you, but you're far from anyone special. People shouldn't have their accounts deleted for submitting submissions which you personally don't like.

I like it.

You animation is great. Its fluid, clean, and nicely done. My only complaint is the audio (which I see you've added a disclaimer about). It was a bit muffled in parts, so subtitles are an easy fix for that. I understand your situation, and that's where pretty much everybody starts too. (Including myself.) It's actually an easy, and inexpensive, fix. I recommend a USB microphone, Logitech is a good brand. You can usually find them for 25-35 bucks either at WalMart or similar place. Then, just make a pop-filter with a wire hanger and a stocking. (You can get the stockings for a quarter at WalMart in those little "vending machine eggs.") Also, Audacity, a free audio program, is great to look into. Easy to use and works great. Then just record in a quite room, away from your computer if possible. (Those Logitechs pick up the hum of a harddrive really easily.) A little noise reduction, and boom, crisp audio. These are my recommendations for your future audio. Keep doing what you're doing, and have fun! I loved this movie and can't wait to see more. ^_^

Los-Tres-Hermanos responds:

I have Audacity as it is, never thought about the wire-hanger/stocking pop filter, but that'll defanitely work. Great advice, man. But... how do you record with a USB microphone, away from your computer?

I take it you don't like malicious reviews?

Well, then, I'll make this as constructive as possible. Firstly, I would choose a different topic to make an animation for than user praise. Your point will fall on deaf ears, unless your presentation is flawless. Speaking of which, your graphics were poor, even for Paint. There was no actual animation, and all you did was string a few stick figures together. At least try to make fuller characters next time. Your audio was also terrible. Not only did you use a text-to-voice program, but it wasn't even properly compressed to where it still sounded okay. Hearing a computer voice sound like its making a microphone pop is not good. I recommend you spend some time practicing your drawing, learning to do more than import images into keyframes, and try to make your own audio. (Mics are somewhat cheap, now, and you can make a pop-filter with a wire hanger and some pantyhose.)

SlashFirestorm responds:

This flash is obscenely old, lol. Check out SES2 for my more recent secret episodes.

I ACTUALLY USE TWEENS IN THE NEWER ONES :-D

Incidentally, I'd be glad to remake this flash as a much better masterpiece...I just need 700 bucks to get flash again.

Anyone? Anyone??? Sucky sucky 700 dolla???

Wait...nothing changed...

So you put a different menu on it, didn't fix the lip sync, and called it SE? While the animation is enjoyable, not the second time around. (And adding a few effects just to repost?) I think this is a little excessive, at best. Try something new!

Tarienn responds:

I would! if you'd stop PUSHING ME!

How'd you do it?

How did you make it past judgement? Not only was this originally submitted with a false "Everybody" rating (yeah, I saw that), obviously since changed, but you blatantly gloat about account stealing and spamming, both of which are blatant violations of the Newgrounds Terms of Use. Not only does this "collection" lack any skill whatsoever, you were contacted by an author (Adam Phillips) who was insulted by your inclusion of a reference to him and you neglected to remove it and actually FLAUNTED the fact. That is just disrespectful. You should be made into an example on what type of user you should NOT be, and you will probably be banned again. Have fun with that.

LordZeebmork responds:

Damn near everything passes these days.

And Adam Phillips got pissed because I used a bug in the NG portal buddy system to co-author him on a flash that won Turd of the Week.

A piece of beauty...

I love The Crow. Great animation. I have to know what that song is! You didn't have any music credits! (That I saw.) Please tell me what that song was. It was great! Keep up the good work!

evolart responds:

It is theme song for "the last of the mohikins"

Nicely done...

It seems like the scenes where the robots were squiggly, its like you got inspiration for Rockman Neo. The same spinning scribble in the background, the squiggly robo-movement. Even the skinning arms and legs style. Not a bad thing to get inspired by that animation, mind you. I'm just stating what I saw. Still, great job.

poxpower responds:

Yeah. That Rockman Flash is cool. Kinda. Well its got good music and animation. But I mean, Mega-Man. Who cares about Mega-Man anymore :p What the fuck am I talking about. Thanks.

GREAT! Simply great!

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. That was absolutely great. Once the guy got in the chair I just busted up laughing for the rest! Great job!

Dustball responds:

Glad you liked it! Some reviews have said it isn't funny!

Time is priceless, waste it wisely.
